Yes, it's true! Wee T is a healthy baby girl. Will and I went in for our 20 week ultrasound this afternoon, and heard good news for the first time in the Royal Oak Fetal Imaging Department. It was amazing to us to see little Wee T's healthy spine, healthy three vessel umbilical cord, two kidneys, and a working stomach. Not to mention her healthy heart, brain and limbs. As far as they could see, everything is healthy with Wee T. She weighs about 10 ounces right now, and is average in all of her measurements. Luke was right when he told me that he would have a healthy baby sister. When the ultrasound tech was trying to get Wee T's measurements, we caught a glimpse of Wee T yawning. She seemed to be saying, "Do you mind? I'm trying to sleep here!" Little does she know just how happy her parents are to have her here with us.
Here's two of the pictures from this afternoon. One is her profile, the other is her caught in the middle of a wee yawn.

What an amazing blessing you have! God is Good, and despite what the doctors say might happen, GOD is the ultimate physician! We look forward to sharing in the excitement of the coming months! Aeden can't wait to meet Wee T and teach her all about puzzles, doggies, and zebras!

I found your blog through another blog...
Wanted to stop by and say hello and let you know that we are praying for you and your precious little miracle girl! We will be thinking of you and your precious little family as the holidays approach.
In Oct. 2007 we lost our 5 month old daughter Liberty - it has been a long journey to get to where we are right now..many ups and downs to say the least - it helps when you have someone to lean on, who knows how you are feeling - so please know that I will be here for you if you ever need a shoulder. We have two other daughters as well..Aspen who is 3 1/2 and little Cheyenne Hope who is 4 months old (she was born 9 months and 3 days after Liberty passed away..she's our little blessing).
Congrats again on your exciting news! God bless you all

Hi Liz, Will and Wee T,
Just stumbled across your blog and wanted to share - my mother also lost her firstborn, a son named David, as he was stillborn 1 July 1980. I am her 'Wee' as I am David's younger sister, born next!
My father still visits my brother's grave every Birthday. I asked my mother recently whether she still visited it. She said to me 'I went every birthday for 20 years. I decided that was enough'.
You can move on, but you will never forget. You can heal over, but the scars remain on the inside. I cry for the big brother I never had. At my grandfather's funeral my aunt explained to my young cousins about my brother. Dad and I cried. She cried.
Even after 28 years, my brother David still touches people and is a reminder to me that life is precious. I sometimes feel that he is watching over my shoulder, supporting me.
I know you will keep the memory of Luke alive. Luke will touch people. And he will always be the angel over Wee T.
Love and prayers,
Claire
